It is actually hard to place this versatile sauce. The flavor is unique but most similar a sweet and sour sauce with cherries. Our Cherry Zing was made for everything, from pork roast to French fries to chili to ice cream. This product showcases just how versatile Michigan cherries are! We have tried it on potato salad, in clam chowder; there is nothing we have found that doesn't work with this sauce. Try it for yourself!
Here is a great meatloaf recipe that we topped with our Cherry Zing:
2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup dried bread crumbs
1/2 cup Cherry Salsa
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c shredded Mexican cheese
Bake at 350°F for one hour. Garnish with Cherry Zing, instead of catsup.
