Bob's Cherry Cocktail Meatballs

Ingredients

Meatballs

1 lb. ground beef

½  c. dry breadcrumbs

1/3  c. finely chopped onion

¼   c. milk

1 egg

2  T. dried parsley

1  t. Worcestershire Sauce

¼ t. salt & dash pepper

Sauce

1 c. ketchup

1 9-oz jar The Cherry Stop Cherry Pepper Jam

½ c. Cherry Stop Dried Tart Cherries or Balatons

OR

1 12-oz jar The Cherry Stop BBQ Sauce

½ c. Cherry Stop Dried Tart Cherries or Balatons

OR

1 12-oz jar The Cherry Stop Cherry Zing

½ c. Cherry Stop Dried Tart Cherries or Balatons

Instructions:

  1. Mix all meatball ingredients together.  
  2. Shape into 1” balls.  
  3. Brown in large, non-stick skillet over medium heat until done using your favorite cooking oil.
  4. Remove meatballs & use skillet for sauce
  5. Remove any fat.  
  6. Heat sauce ingredirtnets of your preference, stirring until blended.  
  7. Add cherries & stir.  
  8. Add meatballs & stir until coated with sauce. 

Makes 30-40 meatballs. Serving size 5 meatballs.

These are great for game days, holiday get togethers, or parties. You could also place finished meatballs and sauce into a crockpot to keep hot for a buffet-style event.
